Learning with BeAccessible
Terms of use
These terms explain the purpose of the Academy, responsible use and what its learning records mean.
Updated
The Academy and your enrolment
BeAccessible provides this professional learning service from Cape Town, South Africa. The Free AI Starter is available without an account. Sign-in is needed to save work and use protected learner, employer or staff tools.
Your programme or cohort information describes the learning offered to you. Check the published module status and session details before relying on availability. A scheduled module is not yet available learning content. Ask about your enrolment, fees or payment questions at hello@beaccessible.co.za.
Responsible use and your work
- Use your own account and keep sign-in links private. Access only records and tools you are authorised to use.
- Treat learners and staff respectfully. Do not harass people, upload harmful files or try to bypass access controls.
- Submit work you are entitled to share. Identify outside sources and explain AI assistance where the activity asks you to do so. Do not present someone else's work as your own.
- Use invented, public or approved practice information. Remove confidential and unnecessary personal information before uploading evidence or using an external AI tool.
- Keep a copy of important work. Check the save or submission confirmation before leaving a page; a failed upload may need another attempt.
Submitting work makes it available for the Academy's learning, assessment and support processes as described in the Privacy notice. A submission does not make your evidence publicly available through an employer report or certificate verification page.
Assessment, access and human support
Follow the activity instructions and published assessment criteria. Human reviewers make assessment decisions and handle appeals. Automated progress and eligibility checks do not decide your competence or replace human certificate approval.
Access preferences are voluntary. You do not need a diagnosis to ask for an accessible route. Use the response formats offered by the activity, or contact support if those formats create a barrier. Employer sponsorship does not change the assessment criteria or remove the option to ask for an adjustment.
To question an assessment decision, use its appeal route or contact us. Account problems, accessibility barriers, accommodation concerns, discrimination complaints and payment disputes have a human contact through hello@beaccessible.co.za.
Certificates and training reports
A BeAccessible Certificate of Completion and skills record describe verified completion of this professional course. The course is non-accredited. These records are not an academic, NQF, QCTO or SETA-accredited qualification and do not award NQF credits.
Completing an individual lesson does not qualify you for the full programme certificate. Issuing it requires the programme completion requirements, a qualifying human assessment decision and an authorised human issuer. A verification link reports current status; it does not prove the identity of the person presenting the record.
The Academy does not guarantee a job, increased income, a grant, skills-levy reimbursement or a particular tax treatment. Employer reports support training records. Employers must check any external reporting or funding requirements separately and remain responsible for their own decisions. Reports must not be used to infer disability or support needs.
AI tools and limits of the learning
The Academy teaches practical AI use; it does not provide an AI tutor or autonomous assessor. If you choose an external tool, review its access requirements, privacy terms and any charges. Verify AI outputs against suitable sources before using them in real work.
Course materials, checklists and completion records do not certify that your organisation or project complies with the law. They are learning resources, not legal, tax or other regulated professional advice. Obtain qualified advice when a real decision requires it.
Privacy, concerns and contact
Read the Privacy notice for saved records, voluntary sharing, employer reporting and privacy requests. See accessibility information for learning options and reporting a barrier.
If something is unclear or you need help using the service, email hello@beaccessible.co.za. Describe the issue without sending passwords, sign-in links or unnecessary sensitive information.
